I love list posts like these! Definitely want to start #17 (with photography) and #23 more often. I love the outdoors but just don’t have the opportunity to get out and enjoy it more. I should be able to later this year, though.
Shared on Pinterest too – love all the suggestions! 🙂
Hi Jean! Thanks so much 🙂 Sounds like we have the same goals. Perhaps we can both find more time to make this happen?! I’m just happy that spring is here to get outside more.
I really enjoy your post. You give many ideas of ways to take care of ourselves. Thanks!
Thanks – I hope you get to make the most of a little self care this season!
Love these ideas and the printable self-care challenge! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Heather! I hope you get the chance to take part in the challenge 🙂
definitely going to try to check these all off! Thank you!
Hi Marissa, Yes! Enjoy the process 🙂
This is beautiful – nr 22 especially as I love listening to the rain (British habit!).
Definitely a British habit! Such a relaxing sound to enjoy!
I have been trying to get my little ones to be more aware when they are outside and listen to the sounds around them. Especially this spring when the birds are chirping loudly I tell them to sit still and listen. It doesn’t always work but I hope to get them to appreciate the calmness that listening to the sounds of nature brings.
Hey Greg! I love that you’re introducing the simple sounds of nature to your kids. Even if they don’t sit still now, I’m sure this will be something they naturally start doing and will enjoy 🙂
What a thrilling and well purposed list of Spring self care actions. Just reading them put me in better spirits.
HI Kimberlie, So happy this list made you feel good! It made me feel good writing it too. Take care!
Ok…this seems doable. Some of these, I actually do already, but probably don’t appreciate them as much as I could if I would just slow down! I’m going to send this to a couple girlfriends and maybe we can challenge each other to put it into practice!
Hi Linda,
Slowing down can be tough for sure! But, once you do I know you’ll enjoy some of these things more. Take care 🙂
I was just thinking this morning that “hopefully” the snow has stopped and I can get outside and work in my garden. That always brightens my mood.
Hey Jolayne, Yes! Gardening always brightens my mood too. Such a therapeutic thing to do.
I love this so much!! Life is so stressful and crazy as it is but I am so excited to try and incorporate some of these self-care ideas into my every day life. My husband and I have been trying to incorporate more healthier lifestyle stuff. I can’t wait to share some of these ideas with him!!
Hi Skylair! Thanks 🙂 So happy you enjoyed. I hope you get to try some of these ideas. It can be hard when life is moving so fast. It’s all about allocating the time to yourself. You can even block off time in your calendar to make it happen. Good luck!
I love the idea of a self-care checklist. Self-care is so important especially when we spend much of our day doing our job and taking care of others.
Thanks for the feedback Debbie, glad you like it! 100% – when we are constantly focused on everything accept ourselves creating time for self-care really does help. Take care!
