Father’s Day is coming up – 1 week today! I am so lucky to have an amazing Dad in my life. I’m also equally blessed that my fiancé is a fantastic Dad. They both put their heart and soul into their Dad roles and would do anything for their kids. Thank you both 🙂
I like to say thanks to the Dad’s in my life and treat them to Father’s Day Gifts I hope they’ll love. Here are some of the gifts I’ve bought that they were really pleased with.
Yes, these are truly Father’s Day gifts your Dad will love.
- If the product I’m recommending is on Amazon, I have selected items that ship in 1-2 days – so you can get in time for Father’s Day.

FOR THE BEARDED DAD
We love our bearded Dads! Okay, my Dad can’t really grow a proper beard (sorry Dad!), but my fiancé can and he loved his Zeus kit. No more messy beards here 🙂
Zeus Deluxe Beard Grooming Kit for Men – $95.20 Comes in Sandalwood, Verbena Lime and Vanilla Rum. Includes: Beard Shampoo, beard conditioner, beard oil and 100% Boar bristle beard brush. You can find it here.
These are also great options at lower price points:
FOR THE BEER LOVING DAD
Come on. There aren’t many Dad’s that don’t like a nice pint glass to drink from and you can never have enough, right?!
Luminarc Guinness 16-Ounce Assorted Pub Glasses 4 Count – $30.73 These classic Guinness ad glasses are really good quality (we use ours all the time). You can find it here.
Other Pint Glasses the Dad’s in my Life Love:
- Guinness 20oz Gravity Pint Glass by Guinness – $27.99
- Game of Thrones 4 Pack Pint Glass Set – $24.99
FOR THE FISHERMAN DAD
Every Father’s Day (and many other times throughout the summer) my fiancé takes the kids on a fishing trip. We live in Toronto and there are actually some great places to fish in the city, however our hidden gem spot is Topham pond, located on the south east corner of Jane St & Eglinton Ave W (no joke). It is stunning and SO secluded you’d never believe you were in the city.
Bass Pro Shops XPS Stalker Backpack Tackle Bag or System – $64.99
I did a ton of research on these bags when I bought one back in December and this is by far the best quality and it’s a great price. It makes trekking to the pond/lake that much easier. There’s an insulated spot for cold drinks and tons of storage. You’re going to have to drive for this one, as I don’t feel there is a comparable tackle back you can find online at this great price. You can find it at Bass Pro Shops.
FOR THE SPORTS DAD
My Dad has always supported me with sports in my childhood attending all my games, as well as being the volunteer driver for school sports events. My fiancé spends hours every week of the year coaching, convening and co-running a kids baseball league (shout out to Annette Baseball) as well as convening for kids basketball.
Baseball Decor Print – $7.81
These are amazing and such great value. How it works: You purchase the sports prints online, then print at home or a print shop and place in a nice frame. Purchase and download here. This is from an Etsy shop called Print Point which has a lot of other high quality print it yourself options. Everything from Star Wars to music to fishing, bowling, golf, tennis, football, skiing, billiards and so much more! Check out the whole collection here.
FOR THE FIT DAD
Fitbit Alta HR Monitor, Black, Large – $199.95.
Does your Dad not want to miss a step? We all use the Fitbit Alta in our house and see who can get the most steps in a week. My stepson continuously wins. What I love is the variety of different straps you can find online. You can find it here.
FOR THE OUTDOOR DAD
Mountaintop [2-Pack] 3-Section Retractable Lightweight Trekking Poles – $32.99
This one is a wee bit of a cheat. I didn’t actually buy this. My other half did. He bought them for me, but he uses them the most! He LOVES his hiking poles. They’re great on winter hikes with lots of snow and ice, as well as steep inclines any time of the year. You can find them here.
FOR THE HANDY DAD
My Dad has always been ‘handy’. Why pay someone to fix the sink or heck, install kitchen cabinets?! Years ago my dad decided to buy some plywood. Two sheets of 4×8 to be exact. He hand sawed kitchen cabinets and then installed it all on his own. It was a rustic country kitchen so it worked out well and my family had those cabinets for years. Whether dads tinker with a few fixes or really go big with home repairs, they have one thing in common – a love for tools.
Mastercraft 80 pc Screwdriver Set – On Sale for $19.99 (reg. $129.99) – at Canadian Tire. My fiancé and Dad have a smaller version of this specifically for the car. It comes with a good quality black bag. You have to buy this one in store, so check out quantities here at your closest location. This is a SUPER DEAL!
Hope you enjoy the above. I’d also LOVE to hear what Father’s Day gifts your dad has loved in the past, or Dad’s hear about gifts you loved. Since all of the above I have purchased before I could benefit from some ideas to help me with Father’s Day this year!
